After about 100 years, a penumbral lunar eclipse of about four hours will be seen on Holi from 10:23 am to 03:02 pm. Regarding this, Swami Purnanandpuri Maharaj, head of Vedic Astrology Institute, threw light on its impact.

Swami Purnanandpuri Maharaj, head of Vedic Astrology Institute, said that Holika Dahan will be done on the full moon date of Phalgun month. Holi Dhuladi with colors will be played the next day. This time the full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month will start from 09:55 am on March 24 and will continue till 12:29 pm on March 25.

He told that this time too, as soon as Chaturdashi Tithi ends on Sunday, the day of Holika Dahan, the shadow of Bhadra is starting from 09:55 am with the full moon, which will last till 11:12 pm. Bhadrakaal is not considered auspicious and any kind of worship or auspicious work is prohibited during this period. Holika Dahan can be done only after the end of Bhadra Kaal. According to the scriptures, the best time for Holika Dahan will be at 11:12 pm. According to the ethos, Holika Dahan can be done from 11:12 am till before sunrise on Monday morning.

He told that this time the first lunar eclipse of the year is going to occur on Dhulaidi. After the year 1924, after about 100 years, a penumbral lunar eclipse of about four hours will be seen on Holi from 10:23 am to 03:02 pm. But due to its ineffectiveness in India, its Sutaks will also not be valid.
